Well, I would just like to share with you some blogs that I love to read and that inspire me! First of all, Modern Country Style, written by Mrs Modern Country. It is so inspiring to see a home being lovingly restored and all the beautiful items that are available to do it with! Secondly, my friend Lisa's blog all about her travels, entitled 'Put me in your Suitcase'. I would love to have seen half of what Lisa's seen! Lastly, SC Jewellery's blog. Sharon produces such awesome pieces and it's a real joy to keep up to date with what she's doing!
I have got a jewellery party tonight at my friend Katy's and another at Su's on Friday night... Am hoping to make lots of sales although I don't know how I am gonna keep up with making everything I need to make.
I am quite excited as I have ordered loads of new bits and pieces from ejrbeads.co.uk so I can make more of my own handmade Polymer Clay beads, cos I haven't been doing it for a while. I have also ordered a book so I hope my skill will start to develop over the coming months...
I am really pleased because I have made lots and lots of sales this month so far and have two more jewellery parties coming up in the next week and a bit... I am also expecting lots of bits and pieces in the post over the next few days including some really funky and unusual Alice in Wonderland charms. Commissions are coming in hot and fast too. Yay!
I am very excited as I have two jewellery parties coming up in the next few weeks, so I have been making new stuff for them. Take a look at my FB page! Here is my favourite piece- a Swarovski Bracelet- and a couple of others.
I have decided that my website is not cost effective so I am downgrading it and putting my shop on Facebook instead... It is now live and I will be adding items over the next few days! I am hoping this will be a better way to sell my products as it is FREE and I think it will be seen by more people. My website will soon change and have links on it to this blog and also the FB page and shop.
I have got loads of new buttons now and I am gonna make lots of button jewellery and also some more bangles this week. Watch this space!
I am mega excited because, after a few hitches and problems, I am going to be trading at my first fair on Saturday! I have made quite a bit of extra stuff for it and I am going to be pricing everything up today and tomorrow ready for the big event... Woop!
My nan sadly passed away recently but she left me her huge vintage button collection! I used to be fascinated with the buttons as a child and spent ages sorting them out into different colours, shapes and sizes. Well, now I've had even more fun making some of them into these two funky bracelets. Contact me if you'd like to buy them or have something similar made! They are more on the way.
Well today my interview with Di at Adiencrafts has been published on her blog! Very exciting. Thanks so much to her and I hope you will all visit her shop and have a look at her gorgeous handmade cards.
So here is my new 'bangle' style of bracelet! They are made with Pandora style charm beads and unusual spacer beads. You can re- thread them in a different order if you want, or even add your own beads to them! They are adjustable to different wrist sizes just by gently squeezing or stretching the bangle. They are priced at £13 each and are available on my website or by emailing me direct at email@example.com
I am now getting busy again with a few commissions which is great! I am enjoying it, although I am sooo tired now I have a full time job too... Please contact me if you would like anything made for you... I have just made a solid silver bracelet with a charm for my friend Natalie and am also doing a top secret surprise commission for a friend. I have also made the above beads for a tutorial which will be appearing on another blog soon. Very exciting!
Just become a follower today to be entered into a draw to win a Gurly Purly bracelet! If you are the lucky winner, you can choose from any of the colours shown above. Existing followers will also be entered and the draw is at 8pm tonight. Good luck all! For more information on these bracelets or my other jewellery, take a look at my website.
Well, I started my new job this week and it's been busy! But I love it. Things are quite quiet on the jewellery front, despite updating my website... I am hoping some people will buy things from it soon!
Hello All! I have got a new range of Glass Pearl bracelets. They are cheap and cheerful and are going up on the website soon. I must thank Jilly's Beads for inspiring me to make this range! They will be £8 each.
I made four of these necklaces for my friend's wedding- they're for her bridesmaids! I really like them, although the photo isn't that great. I enjoy making commissions cos I know who the jewellery is going to and I want to make it even better than usual! I am visiting home over Easter and am looking forward to seeing friends and family and maybe getting more inspiration from my home town of Brighton!
Well... my jewellery party was on Friday night and it went really well! 8 people came along and we had drinks and nibbles and then they all looked at my jewellery. I had laid it out on my dining table with a nice black satin sheet underneath. I made quite a bit of money and I thought it was a success! The picture above is of one of the bracelets I sold. I now have to make about 10 orders in the next two weeks... Wish me luck!!
