Christmas is Coming!

Christmas is nearly here; I can't believe it's December!

I have a jewellery party coming up on 15th December which is exciting and I'm busy making some new things for it.

I'm hoping it'll get everyone in the party mood ready for the day itself.

Well, there goes another evening of bead making! Really tired now but it's a good tired I think.

Will be finishing off and posting pictures of some finished beads over the next few days.

After this week, I'm going to be making my beads into unique jewellery, in time for Christmas!

Latest experiments!

So here is a Stroppel cane that I made with old scraps of clay. It's really easy but effective! Not sure what I'll do with it yet. I'm thinking a pendant!

Underneath is some beads that I am halfway through making. They're from a Donna Kato book and they're fairly easy to do, and have fantastic results! I made these after being inspired by some beads Lynne Shorey made.

I'll post the finished pieces as soon as I can!

Nasty gremlins!

Due to some gremlins in my Blogger app, there was a rogue post on this blog yesterday! I have now chased them away and hope that will be the end of it. Little blighters...

Happy New Year!

Hi all!

I can't believe it's been sooo long since I updated this blog. Things were so busy while I was working full time and now I have some time to actually concentrate on 'Once' again. I am hoping to be involved in a fairly large event in the next few weeks, at which I am selling my jewellery in aid of Parkinson's UK. I am running London Marathon in April for them and need to raise my target amount of £1700! 


Well, I hope to be able to make lots more lovely stuff over the next few weeks, so watch this space! I wish you all a lovely 2011.
